Bioinformatics

Bioinformatics is the management and analysis of large datasets.  It focuses on the development and application of computationally intensive techniques.

Bioinformatics is one of the fastest growing research and employment areas world-wide.

In addition to the analysis and annotation of DNA sequence data, bioinformatics is central to the maintenance of biological collections, rapid biodiversity assessment, proteomics and biotechnology.
