Geographic Information Science

Geographic Information Science explores the way spatial information is derived and used. The field covers a wide range of technologies including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, global positioning systems, surveying, and digital aerial photography.

The GIS program at Macquarie University uses the latest computer software and is based on an international curriculum. Its practical work enhances skill development and problem solving abilities.
