Health
Health Studies is a broad field that explores the social, political, cultural, economic and environmental determinants and outcomes of health, both in Australia and across the globe. The Health degrees at MQ are designed for those who wish to work in areas such as health policy and research, health-care service planning, health promotion, community development and health education.
Students take core units from fields such as anthropology, biology, human geography, demography, sociology and health studies and elective subjects from a wide variety of other fields such as politics, philosophy, anatomy, early childhood, Indigenous studies, and psychology.
