Eureka Schools Prize for Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences
The Macquarie University Eureka Schools Prize for Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences is designed to:
- encourage the study of planet Earth and the interrelationships of its physical and biological systems
- promote understanding of issues such as the assessment of global change to enable better management of the future of our environment.
The prize is open to students from Years 10, 11 or 12 - although entries will be considered on a case-by-case basis from students in other years. There is no limit to the number of entries from a school. The prize is valued at $11,000.
The prize is sponsored by Macquarie University, with additional support from Abbey's Bookshop, Sydney and Microsoft.
