The program is an abbreviated version of the Master of Environmental Education. The degree combines units in environmental education and environmental studies. It focuses on the interdisciplinary approach to studying the environment and the educational objectives are as for the MEnvEd 

Articulation to the Master of Environmental Education  program is permitted when a GPA of 2.5 over four units is attained.

The basic admission qualification is the completion of a recognised Bachelor degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
