| Description: | This combined degree allows students to complete two Bachelor degrees in Social Science and Laws in five years of full-time study. The Bachelor of Laws qualifies graduates for admission to legal practice. It involves an innovative approach to legal education and scholarship. We provide a coherent, broad-based and interdisciplinary approach to the study of law in both its historical and contemporary settings. The Bachelor of Social Science offers students an excellent academic grounding in social science, and allows students to pursue their interests in areas including Anthropology, Cultural Studies, Demography, Education, Human Geography, Linguistics, Media, Modern History, Politics, Sociology, Social Development, Psychology, Social Philosophy and Women's Studies. |

What You Will Study
As well as completing a Bachelor of Laws you will complete a designated program of study from the non-law area for your other degree. If you wish to combine studies in law with another sequence leading to a professional qualification, you may have to take additional units involving more credit points than might be required for other combined law degrees.
